The Backend Engineer supports the design, development, and operation of mission-critical cloud-based systems for NASA Mission Cloud, building resilient backend services and APIs.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build and optimize data pipelines
• Collaborate with mission scientists and engineers
• Deploy and manage services in cloud environments
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance
• Implement secure coding practices
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
